Industrial machinery
My friend’s crew was at a job working on a machine when they heard a commotion and workers were running around freaking out. One of the worker’s biceps had been punctured and his arm was bleeding internally (turned out his artery had been nicked, no exit though). He was screaming and yelling so the crew sat on top of him to stop him thrashing about, crew supervisor showed him a big fist and told him if he didn’t shut up he’d punch his lights out. The crew pulled out the Celox-a injector and injected the celox into the bicep, wrapped his arm up and put the packaging in the worker’s pocket. Later the hospital rang the worker’s company and congratulated them on having an excellent emergency response system.
The maintenance crew always has their first aid bag with them on the job (not in the van).
