CELOX Medical Achieves Carbon Neutral Offset for Transportation Emissions

CELOX Medical is proud to announce the successful achievement of Carbon Neutral Offset status for transportation emissions associated with AWC and Trauma raw materials and finished products over a12‑month period. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and the continuous reduction of our operational carbon footprint.

Over the past year, we have focused on identifying and implementing practical, measurable improvements across our operations to minimise emissions at their source. In parallel with these internal initiatives, we engaged in a carbon off‑setting programme designed to counteract the environmental impact of transporting materials and products across our supply chain.

As a result of this work, 653 tonnes of CO₂ have been fully offset through the purchase of verified Carbon Credits from Carbon Neutral Britain, one of the UK’s leading carbon offsetting organisations.

Supporting Global Sustainability Projects

The 653 tCO₂ offset has directly supported a portfolio of internationally recognised carbon reduction projects. These include:

• Renewable energy generation facilities, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants
• Community-focused projects that create access to education, clean water, and sustainable energy
• Programmes that support local employment opportunities
• Conservation initiatives that protect wildlife and natural habitats in developing regions

All projects funded by Carbon Neutral Britain are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), ensuring that our investment contributes not only to carbon reduction but also to broader social and environmental progress.

Long-Term Commitment

Looking ahead, CELOX Medical has established systems to continually monitor transportation-related emissions across AWC and Trauma. Our intention is to
purchase Carbon Credits annually, allowing us to consistently offset these emissions while we simultaneously work to further reduce our carbon footprint through operational improvements.

This achievement marks a significant step in our sustainability journey and reinforces our commitment to environmental stewardship, responsible manufacturing, and the long-term wellbeing of the communities we serve.
