Medtrade Products Ltd announces changes in sales and distribution of Celox in North America
Medtrade Products, Ltd, makers of Celox™ Advanced hemostatic agents and dressings and the FoxSeal™ chest seal, today announced they have appointed their Seattle based subsidiary, Medtrade Biopolymers Corp. to provide direct sales and technical support to customers and distributors. At the same time, Medtrade Products, Ltd have increased the number of direct distributors for the products in North America to ensure the supply of these life-saving products where they are most needed.
CeloxTM hemostatic agents are used in life-saving emergency treatment of trauma by civilian emergency services, Law Enforcement and Military medical staff as well as in trauma centers. The newly structured sales team has direct experience of the use of hemostatic agents in the fields of Military, Law Enforcement and Public Safety Medicine. The Celox™ “Hands Free Faster” message has resonated with clinical end-users. This improvement in the standard of care has led to rapid acceptance of the products, particularly in Law Enforcement and Public Safety.
“2014 was a remarkable growth year for Celox™ and FoxSeal, as a result, we’ve made several positive changes in our US organization, bringing significant expertise in house. At the same time we have added to our direct distribution to keep up with the growth in the market. These changes will immediately provide a higher quality of sales and customer service capabilities and enhance product availability. This success would not have been possible without tremendous support from our dedicated distributors.” said Anthony Fife, Global Sales Director, Medtrade Products, Ltd.
The new strategy better leverages the respective strength of the CeloxTM distributors’ networks in order to better serve the requirements of the professional users. “At the end of the day it is all about making sure these products are available where they are needed at the very sharp end of emergency treatments” said Fife.
